This past weekend, I had the honor and privilege of sitting at the feet, so to speak, of prophets and apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. The 179th Semi-Annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was broadcast all over the world to those wishing to hear the messages that God wanted the world to hear. It was a humbling experience. It was inspiring, enlightening, and edifying.
Amidst the uplifting words and beautiful music, those that were listening had the opportunity to witness one of the greatest testimonies on the words of Christ found in the Book of Mormon, that given by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. I would liken the power and boldness of his words to the Apostle Paul of ancient days. Elder Holland is setting a new precedent for Conference talks. He is taking seriously his call as a Witness to the World of the sacred Mission and Glory of Jesus Christ. When he speaks, one cannot help but sit up and take notice of his power and authority in declaring truth.
I feel so honored to have been "in attendance" that day. I think like so many landmarks in history, this will be something to be remembered, to be cherished, to be taught, to be shared. We shall be telling our children and grandchildren where we were, and what we were doing on the day that the Apostle Holland gave his witness to the world.

His talk made me very proud and every one of his words were so true....all I can say is AMEN to that.
I just had to say WOW! I have always loved to hear him speak, but you're right. He has become powerful! I love what someone said about Satan looking under the bed for Elder Holland at night! :)
