I was on my way to Rome! Here is an excerpt from my travel journal:
"And so it begins! We are off on the adventure of a lifetime. Brian and I have embarked on our Mediterranean Voyage; a real journey! (Any Joe vs. the Volcano fans?)
"We are sitting in the Portland airport, waiting for our flight to Atlanta...From Atlanta, we fly to Rome. I just like saying that: I'm going to Rome! Imagine that. I hardly can..."

It does roll off the tongue rather nicely doesn't it? I recall enjoying saying the same phrase, although it's been 4 years for me.
